Electrical Wax melter DLC150 manual (working instruction)

The electrical wax melter is used to melt the solid wax (paraffin, bee wax, soy wax etc) into liquid.

The melter is composed of electrical heating tube, thermal transfer fluid, AC contact, thermal controller,

thermal sensor, temperature indicator, power switch

And wax melting tank. The components are connected together to realize the auto temperature control

during wax heating.

Check the following before operation:

1. Fill enough thermal transfer fluid. The fluid is electrically heated, the hot fluid conduct the heat to the

wax melting tank, the wax inside the tank will be molten into liquid. This type of melter heat faster, even

temperature and save electricity power. The tank is double walled container, the fluid will be filled into

the interior wall. The fluid cant be enclosed inside the wall during the long distance transportation.

Also the fluid is export limited.The user need buy the heat transfer fluid at the local market. The filling

volume shall be 2/3 of the tank height.(the fluid inlet nearby has a gauge meter show the filling volume).

If the fluid filled too much, it will overflow during heating.

2. Setting the temperature: the temperature indicator has a range from max to min. Max refer the

highest working temperature, min refer the lowest working temperature, tuning the button to adjust

the applicable temperature. The temperature sensor will detect the wax temp inside the tank and

deliver the data to the thermal control unit, when the temp reach up to the set temperature, it will pause

heating, otherwise it will restart or continue heating.

3. Power wire connecting. The melter can be connected to 380V or 220V or 240V (according to customer

requirement). If connect 380V, the connection is three phase four wire system. If connect 220v/240V,

the connection is single phase two wire system.to ensure safety, when connecting the wire, please

make sure the melter is earth grounded.

4. The wax melter has heat transfer fluid outlet on the right lower corner. Under the electrical box there

is a electrical heating tube installation/changing area, After filling the heat transfer fluid, please

check the fluid outlet and heating tube area if leaking the fluid.If there is leaking at the heating tube

area, please release the heat transfer fluid first, then remove the heat tube cover under the electrical

box, remove the steel panel (10mm thickness) to check the asbestos gasket if loosing, if gasket loosing,

use sealing glue to adhesive the gasket and screw the steel panel again. Put the heat tube cover.

Try to fill the heat transfer fluid again.
